13. Fav TV series

I like some TV series a lot. Here are some of them:

1/ American Horror Story: Asylum

It's a story that takes place in the 1960s in home for the mentally ill run by the Catholic church in New England. This place was once a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients, and now it is managed by Monsignor Timothy Howard with the help of Sister Jude and Dr. Arden. Due to the restrictive nature of the era, there is a whole range of patients, not all of whom are mentally ill, but who have been locked up because of their sexual habits and preferences, which were not accepted by society at the time.

2/ Game of Thrones

The action of the series takes place in the land of Westeros, torn by conflicts, caused by powerful families: Baratheon, Lannister and Stark, in a fierce battle for power, symbolized by the iron throne of the Thrones. Meanwhile, the descendants of the previous ruler, Dragon King Targaryen, are preparing to regain the throne. Increasing quarrels lead to war, and in the far north of Westeros the ancient forces of evil awake.

3/ The Walking Dead

Rick Grimes, deputy sheriff in a provincial American town, gets shot during a police action and falls into a coma. When he wakes up after a few months, he discovers with surprise that the hospital is abandoned, and there are dozens of bags with corpses just next to the building. Full of the worst feelings, Rick goes to his home to find his wife Lori and son Carl, but only meets Morgan and Duane Jones, father and son. who are hiding in one of the abandoned houses nearby. New friends make him aware that the world has taken over the zombies, and the epidemic broke out when he was in the hospital. They also tell him that a nearby camp for survivors was organized in nearby Atlanta, as reported by radio messages. Without thinking, Rick takes  the necessary equipment from his station and heads to Atlanta to find his family.

4/ Haven

FBI Agent Audrey Parker arrives in the small town of Haven, Maine, to capture a local criminal. Soon her innate curiosity leads her to the epicenter of the activities of this incredible enclave - which turns out to be a long-term shelter for people with unusual supernatural abilities. Among the residents is the local policeman Nathan Wuornos, who eventually becomes Audrey's partner, and the mysterious and charming Duke Crocker.
